Blue Winged Kookaburra Fine Art Print

The majestic blue-winged kookaburra (Dacelo leachii) is a large species of kingfisher native to northern Australia and southern New Guinea. It has a big square head and a long bill, with a striking eye. Varying shades of blue are present on the shoulders, wing, and rump. Being a little on the shy side, they are often quiet and therefore a little hard to find, which is interesting as they are perhaps most well known for their boisterous cackle.
